- Commercial HVAC Project Manager is the primary person responsible for planning (drawing, estimating, preparing bids, obtaining permits and final inspections) executing and delivering HVAC projects on time, within budget and according to specifications.
- Evaluate specifications to plan procedures, starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
- Obtain subcontractors, tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
- Direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
- Work with supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances within work force.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specification and the adherence to construction schedules.
- Prepare or review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjust work schedules as indicated by reports.
- Conduct construction activities within federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations.
- Prepare job costs reports, monitor job cost weekly and analyze specific cost terms with field superintendent.
- Prepare project billings and ensure timely payments, following up on outstanding accounts and pushing for payment.
- Prepare and assemble shop drawings and submittals.
- Attend scheduled progress meetings with field superintendent or job foreman.
- Schedule delivery of materials and equipment with field superintendent.
- Assist field superintendent with labor projections and scheduling.
- Prepare required reports with explanation of any deviations when actual job cost are not in line with estimated job cost reports.
- Initiate and prepare all correspondence which might be required between other trades, suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, architect and owners.
- Document job delays, problems and conflicts.
- Initiate and prepare change order requests.
- Assist in preparing final project paperwork including maintenance and operating manuals, warranty letters, lien waivers, etc.

- Read blue prints and equipment packaging lists for assembly.
- Solve simple job related problems and bring solutions to the superintendent or project manager.
- Ability to work with a variety of tools, large machines and specialty equipment.
- Support the superintendent and project manager to complete the project in a timely manner.
- Provide the best quality and productive work without contact reminder.
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Background in pipefitting with a solid understanding of pipe installation, valves, water flow and experience working with steam, chilled water, condensing water and hot water.
- Material Handling: Heavy industrial materials.
- Required Education: High School Graduate or equivalent, work experience.
- Vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of commercial sheet metal experience.
- Extensive knowledge of sheet metal installation and repairs as well as the process for making and repairing sheet metal duct systems.
- Material Handling: lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs. frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs., placing the position in the very heavy physical demand classification.
- Required Education: High School Graduate or equivalent, work experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and Servicing HVAC systems (Hydronic, Steam, Chilled Water, DX, Forced Air, Heat Pump, VAV, Constant Volume, Exhaust, Heat Recovery, Sheet Metal Ducting and various related mechanical systems)
- Maintaining tools, supplies, and equipment
- Performing preventive maintenance on equipment
- Following all safety requirements and use appropriate PPE
- Keeping appropriate records
- Having Flexibility to work extended shifts (overtime as required)
- Maintaining professional appearance
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience as a Commercial/Industrial Service Technician Service and repair experience with HVAC/R equipment including: electrical, refrigeration, gas oil, VAV/mixing boxes, fan boxes, controls, VRF, VFD, CRAC, DX, water source heat pumps, (WSHP), boilers and related hydronic equipment
- Valid NC drivers’ license and CFC certification. (Universal or Type II)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member
- Strong communication and documentation skills
